Maybe you already have a bookkeeper and/or a CPA for your landscaping business’ accounting, but you wonder again and again if Profit First could benefit your landscaping business’ finances.
But maybe you’re also wondering, “if I already have a CPA, why do I still feel like I want AccountSolve’s help?”
As Profit First professionals for landscapers, the way we manage our clients’ finances does look slightly different from a traditional bookkeeper and CPA’s methods.
AccountSolve serves as a type of hybrid between a bookkeeper and a CPA. While we do regular accounting tasks like recording transactions and filing sales taxes, our business is ultimately defined by two core pillars:
Communication
Details are everything in bookkeeping, and there are so many moving parts that a bookkeeper or CPA needs to be aware of and able to track when they’re working with clients. But too often, these two sides of the same coin barely interact with each other. While all three parties (you, your bookkeeper, and your CPA) need to be talking to one another frequently, it usually turns out that barely any communication happens at all.
Because our work bridges the gap between a bookkeeper and a CPA, it’s necessary for us to stay informed about all sides of your financial situation. As a result, we remain informed enough to be attentive and communicative about things that would otherwise fall through the cracks.
In other words, we’re paying attention to every financial detail.
And when things do get out of alignment or fall through the cracks, our team takes initiative to resolve those issues as quickly as possible. It can be hard for a bookkeeper to transfer necessary information to a CPA, because sometimes it’s unclear who should be responsible for what. AccountSolve’s mindset is that if there’s an issue, we’ll handle it – no questions asked!
Partnership
Our team works to handle the finances for your landscaping business so that you don’t have to. We approach our work with the mindset of doing everything we can to serve our clients, from writing checks to creating new systems to tracking down receipts – we don’t ignore financial issues because it’s “not in our job description.”
Whatever it takes to create a true collaborative partnership with clients is what we’ll do.
This goes the other way too – it may be your first time letting someone else do your accounting. Maybe you’ve always done it yourself or had an in-house bookkeeper handle your finances. But outsourcing can be an adjustment as a business owner, and the fact that you’re trusting us with your money is something we take lightly.
The beauty of this work is that we get to learn and grow according to one another’s needs over time. Maybe you make financial decisions for your business that are different from how we would do it – we may bring that up rather than just shrugging our shoulders and moving on, but we also will listen to you and find a solution that works well for both parties.
